Terms and conditions
For quotes and orders from SolidVision Studio. Version October 2026. This is a translation; the Dutch text prevails.
1. Who I am
SolidVision Studio is run by Mike and is located at Kievitlaan 6, 5561 VZ Riethoven, the Netherlands. Email: info@solidvisionstudio.com, phone: +31 6 15 13 50 72.
2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to all quotes and orders from SolidVision Studio, for private customers (consumers) and businesses alike. Agreements in the quote take precedence over these terms.
3. Quote and order
A quote is valid for 30 days, unless the quote says otherwise; after that I may amend or withdraw it. It states what I will make, the price, the lead time and the payment terms. For consumers, all prices include VAT (where I am required to charge it), and any shipping or delivery costs are stated in advance. The order is concluded as soon as you accept the quote in writing or by email.
4. Custom work and no cooling-off period
Every scale model and part is made to your drawings, dimensions or other specifications. For such custom work there is no right of withdrawal (no 14-day cooling-off period), under Article 6:230p(f)(1°) of the Dutch Civil Code. Once you have agreed, you cannot cancel the order free of charge. If you still want to change or cancel something, contact me as soon as possible and we will discuss what is possible and which costs have already been incurred.
5. Your information and designs
You provide correct and complete drawings, dimensions and information. The model or part is made according to that documentation. You confirm that you have the right to have the designs you supply reproduced, and that this does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
6. Execution and accuracy
I carry out every order carefully and professionally. Small deviations inherent to 3D printing, such as visible print layers or a dimensional deviation within the stated accuracy (approx. ± 0.5 mm for 3D parts), are not defects. For 3D parts, you decide whether the part is suitable for its intended use; I am happy to advise on material and strength. Damage or deformation caused by direct sunlight, heating or other heat sources after delivery is not a defect of the model and is at your expense.
7. Delivery
A lead time is a guideline and is agreed together. If a delay is likely, I will let you know as soon as possible. If I still do not deliver after a reasonable extra period, you may terminate the order and any amounts paid will be refunded. The risk passes to you once you have received the model.
8. Payment
You pay as agreed in the quote, within 14 days of the invoice date unless stated otherwise. I never ask consumers to pay more than half of the price in advance.
9. Complaints and guarantee
If something is not right, please report it as soon as possible after discovering it, preferably with photos, to info@solidvisionstudio.com. For consumers, a report within two months of discovery is always on time. I will respond within 14 days and work with you on a solution, such as repair or replacement. Your statutory rights always remain.
10. Liability
This article applies to business customers only; for consumers the statutory rules apply in full. For business customers, my liability is limited to the invoice amount of the order concerned, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness, and I am not liable for damage caused by incorrect or incomplete information from the customer or by use of a 3D part outside the agreed application.
11. Intellectual property and photos
Your designs remain yours. The digital 3D model I create remains mine unless we agree otherwise. I only publish photos of your order on my website or elsewhere with your permission.
12. Privacy
How I handle your personal data is explained in the privacy policy on this website.
13. Applicable law
All orders are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection offered by the law of your own country. We will first try to resolve any dispute together; if that fails, the competent court will decide. In case of differences between translations, the Dutch text prevails.
